Roofing in Hampton
Hampton is modern housing on open former brickpit land, and the roofs are young. What fails here is rarely the material, it is the fixing. Dry verge caps that were clipped on and never seated properly blow off, ridge end caps come loose, and tiles lift along an exposed gable because the perimeter was not mechanically fixed as well as it should have been.
There is almost no shelter across this part of the city, so a windy night shows up every weak fixing at once. The other regular job is the extension or conservatory roof, where the junction with the main house was detailed in a hurry and now lets water in along the abutment.
Our yard is on Crowland Road, Peterborough, about 6 miles away, so getting to Hampton is a short run for us.

Tiles and ridges put right
Flat roof re-coveredThe covering should not be. The fixings and the small plastic parts are a different story, and on an exposed plot they take a beating. Most of what we do here is refixing rather than replacing.
You can, but they are system specific and getting the wrong one means it goes again. It also needs seating on the batten properly, which is the part that usually got skipped.
Often not, once you count the excess. We will give you a written price first so you can decide, and a report with photos if you do want to claim.
Ring Stanley and describe what the roof is doing. He will tell you straight whether it needs a repair, a section replacing, or nothing at all yet.
