Underpinning and maintenance
A lot of what we do is the work nobody else will come out for. A door that will not shut, a cracked lintel, a fence panel down, a wall that needs making good after a leak. Small jobs get a proper visit and a proper price, not a made up call out fee to put you off.
At the other end we underpin. Cracks that are getting wider, doors dropping out of square and a stepped crack through the brickwork usually mean movement. That gets an engineer involved, a trial hole to see what the foundation is sat on, and mass concrete underpinning in bays if it needs it.
Brickwork made good
General repairs
Ground worksHairline cracks in plaster are usually nothing. A stepped crack through the brickwork that is wider at the top, and doors that have started sticking, needs looking at properly. We will come and tell you straight.
Yes. Half a day is fine. You get a price before we start, and no call out charge for quoting.
It depends on how many bays and how deep. It is not a cheap job, but we will only recommend it if the movement is live. Often monitoring first is the right answer.
Yes. We can write up what we find and deal with the loss adjuster for subsidence or escape of water claims.
Ring Stanley and describe the job, however small. If it is something we do not do, he will tell you who does.
